FM53 Jun 04 2005, 06:22am Brian, I'm going to dial in the tune first and then I will see what kind of numbers it puts up. Wed Turner Jun 04 2005, 08:07am Very nice! I thought you were going the super coupe M90 way though. Deffinately post some numbers once you get that thing on the dyno. I'm sure it feels pretty darn strong already. 6pack Jun 04 2005, 11:45am Is that the EE kit? It looks great! BIRD Jun 04 2005, 12:05pm Is that the EE kit? It looks great! It's the BBK kit for the 4.0 OHV - the EE kit for the SOHC isn't too much different. Jim was lucky enough to find and get a good used one - it's for earlier series, but he can modify his tuning parameters to get it to work perfectly with his setup Bird 97lowrider Jun 05 2005, 02:27am **** id like to come and see your truck sometime man XxXxCJxXxX Jun 05 2005, 09:46am awesome cant wait to see the #'s! 6pack Jun 05 2005, 10:54am It just looks perfect. Which Eaton is it? Wish BBK would continue to make them. Cant someone get the molds or forms or whatever from BBK so the can be reproduced? kodiak Jun 06 2005, 10:13am Looks great Jim ! :headbang: Orion_134 Jun 06 2005, 10:32am Nice paint/powder coating job Jim! I'm sure with that SCT package you will nail the tune in no time. I can't wait to see some numbers. Jesse 98blownranger Jun 08 2005, 05:01pm looks good-- is that the belt on the to of the "smooth" pulley that ismounted to the supercharger?? it should go under. I am hoping it is a black mark?? curt 6pack Jun 08 2005, 05:57pm I think the pulley is just worn that color. It looks like the belt goes under. Orion_134 Jun 09 2005, 04:01am It goes under, you can see the path going to the next pulley (just barely). Jesse FM53 Jun 09 2005, 04:30am It's an MP62 Eaton. About 4-5# of boost with the modifications. Wed, I was going with the M90 until Donnie (kodiak) put his BBK up for sale. I couldn't pass on that. I sold the M90 to a guy down in Arizona that had a mint T'bird in need of one. I'm still working on dialing it in. It could be that the MAF I'm using might be too much for the setup. I have a different one showing up tomorrow so we'll try that and see. The belt goes under the charger idler pulley as it should Curt. The belt tensioner broke so the belt was spinning on the idler for a few minutes and polished it up to look that way. I have been trying to get in touch with you for over a week now. I called a couple of times over Memorial weekend. If you tried to PM me back, for some reason you were on my ignore list and I never received them. I didn't realize that until you replied to this thread. What year Ranger are the wires from that you are using with your setup? I can't find a set that will reach the plugs on Bank 1 without mixing sets. 6pack Jun 09 2005, 05:57am What MAF do you have now and will you be getting rid of it? I will be wanting an upgraded one when I do my M90 in a few weeks. Are they even compatible between our two years? Just a thought. 98blownranger Jun 09 2005, 07:17pm I was at drop feast last weekend I left you a few mesages also. wires form a 94 will work FM53 Jun 10 2005, 04:21am Paul....you would need to have the MAF calibrated for the blower setup. '02 GT MAF would be a good choice. FM53 Jun 10 2005, 04:24am Yeah sorry about that Curt. Like I said, I didn't even realize that you were on the ignore list until it showed when you replied to this thread. I tried a stock set of '94's and they wouldn't reach on bank one. You didn't change the location of your coilpack? What brand are you using? Thanks, Jim 6pack Jun 10 2005, 08:42am The MAF needs to be calibrated? The actual unit itself or is this part of a new program. Thanks. Gerry Jun 10 2005, 11:06pm Looks nice Jim and I must say..... you still have one of the cleanest engine bays around :). Make sure you post some number once you hit the Dyno and if you hit the track post those numbers too. FM53 Jun 13 2005, 05:59am Thanks Gerry, I just about have the bugs worked out and everything dialed in. Will probably make the dyno sometime this week if I can find the time. 98blownranger Jun 14 2005, 07:56pm I had the coil pack in front of the Tbody and got the wires for the auto parts store nothing fancy. curt kodiak Apr 28 2006, 11:41pm Whatever happened to Jim and his truck ?? Been waiting for the numbers on the BBK !! 98blownranger Apr 29 2006, 10:19pm i pm'ed him a week ago,and no word back yet. curt BIRD Apr 30 2006, 09:59am Whatever happened to Jim and his truck ?? Been waiting for the numbers on the BBK !! He's in the process of some changes to his setup - shouldn't be too much longer before we see something..........
