Brian,

I'm going to dial in the tune first and then I will see what kind of numbers it puts up.

Very nice! I thought you were going the super coupe M90 way though. Deffinately post some numbers once you get that thing on the dyno. I'm sure it feels pretty darn strong already.

Is that the EE kit?
It looks great!

It's the BBK kit for the 4.0 OHV - the EE kit for the SOHC isn't too much different. Jim was lucky enough to find and get a good used one - it's for earlier series, but he can modify his tuning parameters to get it to work perfectly with his setup

It just looks perfect. Which Eaton is it? Wish BBK would continue to make them. Cant someone get the molds or forms or whatever from BBK so the can be reproduced?

Nice paint/powder coating job Jim! I'm sure with that SCT package you will nail the tune in no time. I can't wait to see some numbers.

looks good-- is that the belt on the to of the "smooth" pulley that ismounted to the supercharger?? it should go under. I am hoping it is a black mark??

I think the pulley is just worn that color. It looks like the belt goes under.

It goes under, you can see the path going to the next pulley (just barely).

It's an MP62 Eaton. About 4-5# of boost with the modifications.

Wed, I was going with the M90 until Donnie (kodiak) put his BBK up for sale. I couldn't pass on that. I sold the M90 to a guy down in Arizona that had a mint T'bird in need of one.

I'm still working on dialing it in. It could be that the MAF I'm using might be too much for the setup. I have a different one showing up tomorrow so we'll try that and see.

The belt goes under the charger idler pulley as it should Curt. The belt tensioner broke so the belt was spinning on the idler for a few minutes and polished it up to look that way. I have been trying to get in touch with you for over a week now. I called a couple of times over Memorial weekend. If you tried to PM me back, for some reason you were on my ignore list and I never received them. I didn't realize that until you replied to this thread. What year Ranger are the wires from that you are using with your setup? I can't find a set that will reach the plugs on Bank 1 without mixing sets.

What MAF do you have now and will you be getting rid of it? I will be wanting an upgraded one when I do my M90 in a few weeks. Are they even compatible between our two years? Just a thought.

Paul....you would need to have the MAF calibrated for the blower setup. '02 GT MAF would be a good choice.

Yeah sorry about that Curt. Like I said, I didn't even realize that you were on the ignore list until it showed when you replied to this thread.

I tried a stock set of '94's and they wouldn't reach on bank one. You didn't change the location of your coilpack? What brand are you using?

Thanks, Jim

The MAF needs to be calibrated? The actual unit itself or is this part of a new program.
Thanks.

Looks nice Jim and I must say..... you still have one of the cleanest engine bays around :). Make sure you post some number once you hit the Dyno and if you hit the track post those numbers too.

Thanks Gerry,

I just about have the bugs worked out and everything dialed in. Will probably make the dyno sometime this week if I can find the time.

He's in the process of some changes to his setup - shouldn't be too much longer before we see something..........

I haven't seen him around in a long time. According to the forum, he hasn't logged on since August of last year.

I'm still around.:E I just don't have any internet access to speak of at my house.(I'm holding out for cable:naughty: ) I work too much, and rarely get a chance to visit online anymore. By chance, I just happened to be at my in-laws house and decided to check the boards. Thanks for wondering.:hippy:
