I bought a used kit and it has everything with it from what I was told. I don't know where the fuel pressure regulator is so I can run it to the zex purple box. This is a Zex dry kit and i'm guessing that it was for a 4 or 6 cylinder cause the biggest shot says 55 (this is the shot sizes right)? And when installing the fogger how far in front of the T/B should it be about 8inches? And do I have to have it aimed towards the T/B. Any pics would be great. Also should I buy the fuel pump booster or can I get by without?

How much did you pay for it ? Im under the impression that dry kits will NOT work on our rangers only wet kits BC of the contiounis fuel system

You mean returnless. If your truck is 98 or newer than you'll want to get the wet kit. If it's 97 or older, than the dry kit is fine for you. Once you answer that question, I'll move on to the rest of them.

Its a 98 so i'm guessing a dry kit won't work? I got it for 400. What could I use from this kit and what do I have to buy to make it a wet kit If possible?
(didn't mean to post it in the wrong place)

Well you need the new control box and a new nozzle. Basically the only thing you can use from that kit is the bottle.

Thats what i was thinking. Could I used the jets or will I need to get new ones to? How much is the control box for the wet kits?

For the money you will spend piecing it togeather you'll be better off just getting a completely new kit and selling the one you have. On top of the new new control box and a new nozzle you wil need another line to run the fule to the nozzle and I'm sure a few other pieces here and there.
Now for your questions..
The FPR is on pass isde of the fuel rail and it's more or less right behind the oil fill spout. Click here (http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/6/web/138000-138999/138102_133_full.jpg) to see the FPR. Follow the fuel rail from the back to the front and you'll see the two injectors and then a gray'ish black thing with a nipple on it on the bottom of it. That's your FPR and that's where you push on the vaccum hose from the ZEX control box.
Yes the 55 is the shot size and if I'm not mistaken you should have 3 different sized shots in the kit (55, 65 & 75).
The nozzle works best when it's mounted 8-12" inches in front of the TB and yes, you need to point it towards the TB. Here's a picture of mine (http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/2/web/590000-590999/590960_35_full.jpg) so you can see where it should be placed.
I think I covered all your questions and if you have any more just ask.
