will i need new gears if i get 32" tires with 15x10" rims? i have 3.73 right now. when i get my new tires i will probably let my girlfriend use the ones i have now on her 93 4x2 explorer. will they fit? they are 30x9.5 bfg at.so far i have only put about 4,000 miles on them since they came with my truck when i bought it 3 months ago. thanks.

What engine do you have? If you have a 4.0L, 3.73's should be fine. If you have a 3.0L or 2.3L (I'm sorry if you do), an upgrade to 4.10's or lower would be nice to have. Is yours 2WD or 4WD? If it's 4WD, a gear swap is gonna cost quite a bit since you have the front gears to change as well.

As for the Explorer, 30x9.5's will work fine on rims with the stock offset. Check out www.explorerforum.com for lots of Explorer info, great site over there.
