1st idea
I've got all my supporting fuel system stuff and am ready to do my intake for my OHV engine.
My ? is for thous of you who have made yours is there a reason that you went with 2x3" box tube on the plenum? My truck has a 3" body lift on it so I have a little extra room under hood and for the eas of install I was wonding if a 3x3 box tube would work. The reason Im asking is cause of the bolts in the Intake to the plenum, it would be easier to get to them and I have the steel already in a 1/8 wall. Also a supercoupe m90 s/c is what Im installing.
2nd idea
Is the alum Intake on the early 4.0 ohv enine compataple with the current plastic intake? Im thinking about useing one of them and cutting of about 1.5" of the mounting flange and welding a round 3"x1/4 pipe flat 2that would be 3/4 of the pipe on the round side cut with the flange welded to he top where the s/c would be mounted.
Also is the specs on here http://www.capa.com.au/eaton_m90data.htm
the same as the 2nd generation Supercoupe s/c?
