I bought a temp sender at NAPA yesterday and want to install it in my 93 2.3L as the temp guage does not work.... does anyone know where this sender is located on the engine? Also Thanks everyone for the tach advice, I installed it and it worked perfectly... THANKS!

get under the truck and look on the drivers side right by the oil filter. It is threaded into the engine block It should have one wire runing from it.

WOW that is hard to get to.... any advice on changin that sucker???

It is not to hard if you have a wrench. You can get up under there and losen it. Once you get it to where you can get it out by hand move out of the way b/c there will be a little coolant loss, you might want to put a bucket under it.
