I have a '98 Explorer, V8, AWD that has a vibration that seens to be coming from the right front side. I found the lower ball joint was shot and replaced it. Vibration is still there. Wheel bearing seems fine, rotated the tires, tierods good, upper ball joint good. The axle seal on the right side has leaked a little and the axle shaft will move up and down a little where it goes into the axle tube, but the left side does too (maybe not as much, hard to tell).

Anybody have any ideas? I don't want to start blindly replacing parts. Thanks for any help.

p.s. It's kind of a rythmic vibration, not a grinding noise.

Its the gears in the pumpkin. Mine vibe and whine with my AWD also.
