I was leaving the mall the other day, and I passed what at first I thought must be a Tacoma or Frontier, but as I got closer I did a double take when I saw the ford logo on the front! This was not a Sport Trac either, it looked like a fairly current (2000 or newer) Ranger, just with a longer 4-door cab. I can't find this on the Ford site, is it a 2006 thing, or is it perhaps a custom mod? I would trade in my B4000 for one of these in a heartbeat!

Mexican? Brazilian? If so those are this websites dream vehicles lol.

i don't like s10's, but i saw an s10 4 door zr6 (some thing like that) 4x4 lifted once in tennessee (sp?) and it was awesome.

yes they did make some! they are verry rare and i know its a 99 or 2000 the year they made it. there is a guy on car domain that has one its black. them things are pimp. the only one i seen is on car domain though. he has a story about it on there about makeing verry lil of them. some one search and find it and post it up on here

4-door Rangers are very common everywhere in the world except the USA and Canada where they were never sold. People who live in the southern US border states see Mexican 4-doors quite often.

I don't like the 4 doors. I think the ranger ext cab looks alot better than the 4door.

Theres actually like two or something that were from one of the plants in the States. They used them for security or maintnance at the plant and i guess it closed and they got sold off

Nice lookin truck btw. Looked just like the ones we have here, except 4 full doors. The ranger can pull it off too, doesnt look funky like the s10

yeah this was posted a few months ago for an engine i think it was a 2.9 turbo desil, might be wrong about the turbo part. it think if i was going to get a 4door i would get the explorer one though

Apparantly they're really popular in other parts of the world, if you do a google image search on Ford Rangers, you get a ton of results that are pictures of 4 doors. I think I've only seen one here though (Oregon) and I'm pretty sure it was a mod. I tried asking the owner about it but I think he was drunk and couldn't really answer any questions. But I like the regular extcabs a whole lot better.

Yeah, those things are seen quite a bit down here in Laredo! Some dude usually stops by the place I work at and he said they run for about 15K in Mexico! Not bad for an '05, huh?

A fully loaded 4 door Ranger costs $15,000 U.S. but its for a reasson. The saftey standards are about the same as what we had in the 80's, as well as the engines. Thats why they are not sold here.

i wonder if there is any possile way to buy one in mexico and bring it back here. I dont know if you would be able to regester it in america if it was just bought there. I would fly into mexico and drive one home.

(2 ) one sport trac copper and the other elec red , 4 door ranger siteing, on the way to work today near the ford proving grounds, 2006 with the badge in the middle and square mirrors, one 4 x 4 the other alot lower, the stance of a colorado sport with lo pro tires, the lower one looked SWEET!!!!

oh and they both where in camo with manufac plates, i smell sometthing fishy.

To me 4 fullsize doors really takes away from the truck. The truck just looks to long, kinda like what dodge did the srt-10 Ram w/ a Quad cab and an auto trans. By the time I have kids and they are old enough to drive, they won't know what a 2 door 5 spd truck is.

You could buy a Sport Trac, remove the Sport Trac badges and put Ranger badges on it instead - and there u got a crew cab Ranger.

yeah it starts with a ZR somethiin lol, that was my 2nd choice before i bought my ranger. they looks great lifted
