Well my wife had my ranger today and descided to trade it in on something bigger. She tradded it in on a 2002 explorer xls. Gonna miss the ranger but I like the explorer.

I knew she was thinking about trading in on something bigger but I did not know she was going to do it so soon. Got a good deal on it, we owed around $13,000 on the truck and they gave 16,200 for the trade. Payments are cheaper and insurance is going to go down on it.

I finally had to get rid of my beloved 1998 Ranger. The head was cracked and I just couldn't see putting any more cash into it.

The happy part of this story is I was able to pick up a 2005 Explorer with all the bells & whistles. It even has a 4.0 mill in it. It was from a rental fleet with 9700 miles on it, cost me $17,000.

I miss my hunting buddy but at least I have a warranty now.
