Now on to the picture. I wanted something I had never seen before, an older car, so hit up Ford's archive on their media site for historical pictures. Came across this little number, 1952 Ford Taunus (not Taurus) 12M. Ford sold them in Germany.

See lots of stuff that can be done with this, a good challenge. Chop, channel, stretch, slam (or lift :jester: ), wild paint, frontend grafts, blah blah. Turn this ugly duck into a swan. :burnout:

yeah this ones gunna be a little tough. i know we shouldn't post till the date posted on here. i must say i was guilty of copying matt s's front bumper last mintue for my courier picture and i took martingods side stripe idea but i contuined it on the front a rear fenders. sorry to both of you once again. but deffently no posting till friday guys. its for the best most orignal pics we can come up with. later

I started it! For as little as I have done in Photoshop, I think I am doing pretty darn good! Cant wait for the final results!

finished mine today... Got a few hours into it... Probably could have done more than it would have just been more and not better..

matt, just an idea, why dont you pic a new car today, then have the winner of this one pic a new one on firday night when we close the contest. the winner will be picking a week behind but it will give people some time on the weekend too. seams like people dont have alot of time during the week so this would give a little extra time.

Sounds like a hell of an idea, was thinkin the same thing when I was out.

That's a good idea. Let's do this, start Monday and run it to Sunday, close Sunday night, next day post the new picture picked by the previous winner and we can vote on the winner for the contest we just had during the week. Thinking people might prefer having the weekend at the end instead of the beginning. Also gives the winner the weekend to look for a picture and plenty of time for people to vote.

So it would be like this if we started it this week:

Monday - Picture posted, contest starts
Sunday - Submit entries, contest ends that night
Monday - Voting starts, next picture posted by the winner of this contest, contest starts
Friday - Voting ends, winner picks new picture for following Monday
Sunday - Submit entries, contest ends that night

and so on...
