View Full Version : Photoshop Contest 11/21/05 to 11/25/05 VOTE! Matt S Nov 26 2005, 02:31am Some niiice 'shops, who wins? Voting open to Sunday night, winner picks the next pic to shop. :biggrinha nickg239 Nov 26 2005, 02:49am A few VERY good ones! LoRanger Nov 26 2005, 06:13am Really liked yours nusensesd, but my vote went to the scientist this week. madscientist Nov 26 2005, 06:54am I wouldn't quite feel right voting for myself, nusensesd has mine..... BigChaz Nov 26 2005, 08:15am Man thats a tough one Had to look at um all several times. Man you guys are good! Martinarcher64 Nov 26 2005, 11:14am madscientist 3906brad Nov 26 2005, 11:42am dross93ranger FTW. Chics in bikinis. Gotta love'em. JPage Nov 26 2005, 06:15pm Had to go with Madscientist. Just liked the overall look of the car. Like how dakotaq chopped the whole image instead of just the car... Nusensed - Yours looked awesome, I just felt like I was looking at a surfboard. Really long but not very wide. Awesome work, just didn't like the overall feel of the car. Can't wait to look at the next set of entries! Jwad00 Nov 26 2005, 07:35pm I agree with alot jpage said. I am going with madscientist on this one cause the car just looks great. Nice choice of rims to keep the old skool look. Dakota- I love the shadow in the window haha. :leghump: Dross93ranger - 2.3'dranger Nov 26 2005, 08:37pm i really liked mad's but i also liked dak's because that was how i was going with mine and he did the guy too,but becasue of work i could not get it done in time. later nusensesd Nov 26 2005, 10:22pm out of the rest of them I would have to give the nod a little more to martiangod.. He saw something in the vehicle that none of us did.. The front end came out really good maybee with a little more time the rear might have caught up with the front.. Really like the from the back of the doors front though.. madscientist and Matt's chops look almost like the same thing.. Maybe a color change would have pulled them a little more apart.. I'd give the nod to matts though cause the rims look right.. Like Dakota's chop.. The whole rockabilly theme is going through good.. One word of advise would have to continued the zebra print into the back so it could have been seen through the rear windows.. Looks really good though.. Mine I had to change the background.. Difference between mine and the rest is that when I lowered it using the same background to me it looked bad.. So instead I rotated the whole car so it looked a little better... I like that pic though.. Definatly was fun to chop... There is a lot of talent showing through the chops that did show up though... Nice chops though everyone... dakotahq Nov 26 2005, 10:36pm Like Dakota's chop.. The whole rockabilly theme is going through good.. One word of advise would have to continued the zebra print into the back so it could have been seen through the rear windows.. Looks really good though. I see what you're saying, but the part that is zebra print is the only cloth seen through the window, thats why its like that...I originally changed the whole background too...i put the car in the middle of a rockabilly concert, but it wasn't done in time for the contest, so i just kept the original background....I did the chop in 3 hours, had to finish it before i left for thanksgiving...but this next contest will get a lot more time. Pick a good picture... nusensesd Nov 26 2005, 10:49pm I see what you're saying, but the part that is zebra print is the only cloth seen through the window, thats why its like that...I originally changed the whole background too...i put the car in the middle of a rockabilly concert, but it wasn't done in time for the contest, so i just kept the original background....I did the chop in 3 hours, had to finish it before i left for thanksgiving...but this next contest will get a lot more time. Pick a good picture... I aint won anything yet... madscientist is close and it looks like he is going to get the nod on this contest... as far as time crunch goes... Same was with me.. I finished mine on wed before the thankgiving break.. I have photoshop here at home but I rarely use it.. Pretty much all the chops I do are done at work.. Funny thing was I forgot to upload it when I went home for the holidays so on Fri I had to go back into the office so that I could post my chop.. Hope everyones has had a good holiday so far... Martiangod Nov 27 2005, 08:09am out of the rest of them I would have to give the nod a little more to martiangod.. He saw something in the vehicle that none of us did.. Nice chops though everyone... Thanks for the comments on the chop, was trying to go for the Alfa Spider tail, almost ditched the whole idea because overall, I wasn't happy with it, but I didn't have time this week to start over. I am curious though. You mention that you do it at work, are you a professional graphics artist? Your images have a smoothness that is still a real hit and miss for me to acheive. I must say though, there is some great talent here. Kudos to all NVR2LOW Nov 27 2005, 10:15am man, i thought the truck idea would be a little more popular on this board, i guess if i had time to finish it it would have come out better. oh well, maybe i will be able to finish the next one with the new timeline. nusensesd Nov 27 2005, 01:22pm actually I do support for a legal software.. Since most of it is on the phone that leads me to be able to do other stuff.. occasionally I'll do graphics for the company like labells, headers, and business cards.. done a few other things for my job but mostly its used for messing with cars.. man, i thought the truck idea would be a little more popular on this board, i guess if i had time to finish it it would have come out better. oh well, maybe i will be able to finish the next one with the new timeline. maybee... don't know about you but I didn't grow up on trucks.. most of my experience when I was young was in a car one way or the other.. to me it looked odd.. Maybee with a little more polishing and possibly time it could have brought more attention.. Nice try though.. bluewillow95 Nov 27 2005, 01:31pm nusensesd. though most of em were pretty good too. Martiangod Nov 27 2005, 01:58pm man, i thought the truck idea would be a little more popular on this board, . Actually I had a good chuckle when I saw it, Now don't take that the wrong way, As soon as I saw it the first thing that popped into my head was the Jetsons :) The truck has a very futuristic look about it to me I could just Picture George behind the wheel/stick and Astro in the back woofing. http://www.epilog.de/Film/J/_Bilder/Jetsons_Der_Film_USA_1990_B1.jpg NVR2LOW Nov 27 2005, 02:15pm Actually I had a good chuckle when I saw it, Now don't take that the wrong way, As soon as I saw it the first thing that popped into my head was the Jetsons :) The truck has a very futuristic look about it to me I could just Picture George behind the wheel/stick and Astro in the back woofing. http://www.epilog.de/Film/J/_Bilder/Jetsons_Der_Film_USA_1990_B1.jpg haha, ya, something is off a little. i think it would be better if i had the rear pillar on the drivers side back in the pic, just never got around to it. that and i wanted to flatten the roof a little so it wasnt so bubbly DCSHOECOUSA Nov 27 2005, 09:42pm man, i thought the truck idea would be a little more popular on this board, i guess if i had time to finish it it would have come out better. oh well, maybe i will be able to finish the next one with the new timeline.
