Hey guys, I've got some new issues with a new truck. Just brought it home today!!! It's an 85 2.8 4x4 longbed 5 speed. Okay, I haven't needed a choke in a long time, as stupid as it sounds, out is what, in is what, and when do I need which? I live in Wisconsin and it's getting cold. guy I bought it from says he never moves it, but I wanted to get a second opinion. Alos, I plan on doing a few mods. I've seen headers, but does anyone have a true dual exhaust for this? All I've seen has been a one in two out muffler, I want head back duals. Any help would be great.

First off, if u are allowed to alter the emissions equipment duraspark the thing the ECU crap will give u nothing but a headache.

yeah, finding that out. reading into it, but more money than I have right now. been having problems with it sputtering and i guess a service bulletin went out about adjusting the float bowl. I back out the screw two turns and it's better, but not fixed. truck has about 140,000 on it, and suggestions from full in how many turns to get good idle? I miss my FI 2.3:( Also, how much lift to get 31" or 33" under this pig? Thanx
