Somthing like 10 degrees BTDC? And where and waht size is the distributor hold down bolt? I'm gonna time the 86 tomarrow, and just wana save some time with the wrenches and G-tech..

10 degrees is correct. As for the hold down it is a 13mm bolt, I have set the timming on my 2.9 several times and if you have the tools I recommend using a 1/4in. drive 13mm wiggler socket with a 12in. extention and a ratchet. Either that or a short wrench, the only thing bad about the wrench is that most of the time when you try to tighten the hold down up you move the distributor a little, that is the reason that I would use the ratchet.
