What...exactly is the throttle mod? Is that where you pull the slack out of the cable?

Oh man i forgot about this one.

To do the modification get down where the pedals are. Find where the throttle cable attaches to the pedal. Pull the slack towards you, don't pull too much or you will start to open the throttle body. Find something to keep the slack heald. Many people use fishing wieights of heavy duty zip ties.

Hey, I would use fisshing weights if I were you. I used heavy duty zip ties and one pulled through a hole in the gas pedal bracket. IT felt really weird when t happened. There is however a lot of slack to be found there. Good luck!:)

OK so without seeing it 'cause I'm at work are y'all talking about the fishing weights that you "pinch" over fishing line?

yeah, yoy might want some hevey duty ones that require pliars so they will not come off.

Well I just did the mod on mine. I used some heavy duty zip ties. Only if you look at it, you knotice there is that metal tip on the end, and then a spring that fits into the groove of the pedal. I put my ties between the tip and the beginning of the spring. So I'll see how that works out.

thats what i did to mine a couple of months ago... i used about 4 ties cause i had a lot of slack.... it still works great and i havent had any trouble...

I used the zip ties between the tip and the little plastic thing too. I had fishing weights but the fell off and I could tell a difference when they did too :nuts:
