As far as I know there is no difference. What is it you are trying to do?

I put front wheel drive wheels on my ranger and as long as the bolt pattern lines up all you need up front are some spacers. The spacers probably need to be .75 to 1 inch so you minimize rubbing and are able to put your center caps on.

I got mine from Pep Boys, but I'm sure that there are other shops that carry them, but Pep Boys is your best bet.

i have a set of enkei's on my 97 ranger
the hub on the front keeps me from putting a center cap on the front but it fits on the rear. when you have fwd on a truck they tuck up in the wheel wells and are closer together. i had to buy spacers that mount on my hub that push my rims out the the normal width. if you plan on dropping your truck and "tucking" the rims you dont need spacers. i have 17's with big rubber so my wheels are the same size as the factory, it fits fine. so all you need to do is put the rims on it, or add spacers if you want the rims to sit out as far as the factory. let me knwo if you need my old spacers. good luck man

To run front wheel drive wheels on a rear wheel drive....you need an adapter.......the adapter fits on your existing hubs and changes the bolt pattern to fit the front wheel drive wheels...

oh yea if you use wheel adapters...or spacers..... you will probably need to replace your wheel bearings annually.......i worked in a tire shop for 3 years and i've seen this a lot.... just FYI.,...

i have fwd wheels on my ranger right now had em for a year, neva hadda change my bearings. i done it get ghetto way and put washers behind the wheels for about .5" so they won't rub on anything. 92is probe wheels will bolt right up, thats what i have now w/ no adapters.
