I know there is already and article here about how to make your three bulb setup work in a 2 bulb setup, but it varries for the 2006 a lot! So Here is how I did it all in about 3 hours.
First thing, I found the 2006 actually has 3 places for light bulbs to go, so I modified the bottom Slot to fit my turn signals:

Now I had to go to Pick-n-Pull because the Ford Turn signal sockets are too deep when installed. The 2006's Auxilary slot is very shallow. I found the GM Socket has the bulb recesed in the socket much more, and fits a much shallower hole. This socket can be found on a variety of vehicles, I got mine from a Jimmy/Blazer, and also found them on a Bretta. So, All I had to do was cut a hole to fit the socket in the lens:

Then I spliced it in where the old Turn Signal socket was:

Now, The problem you will have is the Factory Reverse socket doesn't fit the 2006 reverse hole. Don't get out the dremel just yet!! The Old Turn Signal socket you just cut off will fit. But do yourself a favor, and make it easy. Remove the pins from both connectors, and swap it that way, it's much cleaner than re-splicing them.
Now I didn't like the foam gasket that was on the GM socket, so I put my rubber gasket from the, now abandoned, reverse socket on the GM Socket. Fits perfect. Finished Product:
