Hey, I'm assuming MattS Added the thumbnails...I tried to do that, but it didn't work...can u email or PM me how u did it? I'll do that from now on.

^ ^ Don't worry man, keep on practicin'. I've been Photoshopping for a pretty good amount of time now, and you see I've only got 2 votes. Only had 1 or 2 on my last one. Very rarely do I get any more than that. But that's okay, just gives me more motivation to try to do better next time! :)

you have to remember its all subjective.. Its what the people like.. I've one 1 contest in the 10 or so that I've entered, and that was towards the beginning. You have to come out with something that has eye appeal..

Shoot it took me forever just to get the reflection on the water on the bottom cause of the weird angle that the truck is at.. I think I worked on that for atleast a good day just to get it how I wanted it to look.. The truck itself I had done since the week prior.. It was the background that I needed to finish.

If you would like some constructive criticism we can give it to you.. may help you with future contests..

Yeah, nusensesd is right, its all about personal taste...I try to one up myself everytime, so the paintjob on this truck, which is obviously not everyones taste, was me trying to out do myself. The flames interlace and weave in and out of eachother. Some people don't like or notice them, but to me, thats what made my chop.

I think the nissans look gay, hence my chop, wasn't ment to be serious, or taken serious.
I do it for fun, if winning was my goal I wouldn't bother.
And it all boils down to voters taste,

I noticed it, and it was executed well, but the truck looked like it had too much going on, and matts paint job was just simple, but made it look smooth.

I figured you would be getting the most votes, just because you went way different than everyone else. I personally kinda like the titan, but it would have to be slammed, they look goofy lifted IMO.

Thanks for the support guys, my next chop wont be better, but maybe contest 17 I will have some time to really knock it out. I've had such little time I have been doing my photoshops in like a day or two after the pic is posted, then I cant mess with them. i just run out of time.

Dakotah, I definitely took note of that flame paint job, as a matter of fact I think when I saw it I even said out loud "wow I bet that took him forever to do..." Very nicely done!

Man all of these shops were very well done it was hard to decide on just one.

the flames aren't my style, but i thought they looked good.
i went with the titan one ton, i thought it looked good for a dually conversion.

personally i would have voted for mine had i found the time to do it, LOL but time is definatly a big thing, i just spent like 3 hours last night on contest 16...

one thing i noticed on smorison11's i think there just needs to be more time taken to zoom in really close to trace the vehicle's paint. also i don't know if your using adobe photoshop and i don't know your skill level, but some things i learned a while ago that i didn't know, but improved my digital images is when your lassoing, you can use shift and trace to add on to your traces, and alt to take away from them, it's neat to play with, and probably one of my most used functions. also, shaddows... it's really important when you lower to add the shadows back in. they are a PITA for me, and i hate them, but they are quite neccessary. Ok, I'm off to work on contest 16 some more....
