MY 2000 has the flex fuel system, and mine has the V. Call the dealership they will be able to tell you for sure. BOSS 3.0 Jun 19 2006, 11:29am "V" (Victor) is E85. "U" (Uniform) is gas-only. 360cid Aug 16 2006, 07:33am Just had my WA state emmition's test done 8-14-06, with the U as that 8th and on the report it was noted a an FFV vehicle! But then again, I have had to go through the WA state registration to change that U from a 4 for some goofy rerason, so this is not over yet! 06STX Aug 16 2006, 02:40pm Thanks for the info.. I have an 06 stx ranger. My letter is also a "U". According to www.e85.com, it is not a flex vehicle. Why would they only make selected vehicles flex? Makes no sense. Anyways, let me know what happens |
