Makes for cool looking shots, but kind of hard to take rolling shots by yourself.. Probably have to sit this one out, because I'm definitely not ghost riding it. haha. I do have some of the mustang, but we're not on a mustang forum..

if we can add other vehicals im game, have some great rolling shots, otherwise im out, my 02 wouldnt look that good on a rolling shot anyway.

maybe a ford only so i can use this shot

Should I set my long-time exposure up for a moving shot? Or just keep it at zero?

Nah, you wouldn't want a long exposure on a moving shot.. Just enough to blur the wheels and background to give it the 'action' look. too much exposure and the whole picture would be blurred.

my shutter speed was 1/40 for that shot i think, maybe 1/60 but that was the highest speed. a long shutter would be cool but it would be really hard to not shake driving down the road

While yes that is your truck.. You didn't take that pic or have a friend of yours take that pic.. So you do not have license to that pic..

Even though I don't live on that coast I occasionally go through that site to see pics that they take.. Some nice vehicles go through that stretch of road..

Why.. Read the rules.. Thats why I posted them..

It has to be a picture shot by YOU or a friend of YOURS the you own. If you would use that picture it would be the same as plagerism. Someone else did the work while you are taking credit.

Thats why I didn't like this whole topic.. For me to take it, somebody else is going to have to be driving, which isn't happening now that its bagged with me not in there. And if somebody else is taking it, its not my picture.

i guess i will come up with anothe picture i bought, will that be ok, i mean if i payed for it or do i need you to hold man hand and take me to school too.

First of all did I call you names no.. So you my frind are the ass cause you can't get it through your thick skull that YOU don't own the picture.

Even the ones that you bought you still down own the rights to that picture. Other people can go to that site and buy the exact same picture and they send the money to HIM not you. It is nothing moer than you going to a store and paying for a lithograph. Do you own the rights to that picture, No. You purchased a copy of the picture but the person that did that picture still retains rights to it.

The contest is about YOU taking the picture not you putting up a picture that YOU have found somewhere on the internet with your truck on it.

and since you don't understand the difference between paying for something and owning the rights to something.. Maybee someone should hold your hand as you go back to school...

The difference is you didn't setup the photoshoot. You had nothing to do with it except for the fact you happened to drive by the spot where the photographer was taking pictures. He is there every week to take pictures for sale, thats what he does. He sells copies of the picture, however he does still retain the rights to that picture (as meaning he can still sell as many copies as he wants). If he does not retain the rights to that picture then he does not have the right to sell that picture to anyone without paying some sort of a royalty to the owner of it.

Now if you go to that photographer, hand him a camera and ask if he will take a action shot of you then you can submit the photograph. Then you own that photograph, you are not buying it from someone else.. There is a difference..

However I'm done trying to enlighten you. You obviously are to thick headed to see the difference. If you feel like you still want to discuss this then PM me because I don't feel like getting this thread locked because of your immature actions..

look, its not that hard, you have to take the pic. have your friend drive your truck, or have him take the pic for you. it cant be taken by a pro photographer that you have never met other than to buy a pic he snaped as you drove by one time. If you cant do that then just sit this one out, its not that big a deal.

However if you read all my posts (even with the Shelby GT-H not GT-350H that was back in the 60's) you can see that each person brought it to themselves..

But this is done.. Unless you are posting to add a photo or have a legit question about this contest then let this discussion die..

Dammit, I'm in the same boat as dantheman, only I don't trust anyone with my truck OR my camera! LOL!

Hopefully, I'll get in on the next one - as long as it isn't another country/rock one!
