'87 BII 5sp 4x4 (this is long, please bare with me) my bII is a total POS!!!! since they day i got it nickel and dime nickel and dime. i have had here for 3 yrs now. and not ONE winter has it ran. It has now been dead since just before halloween. Heres what happened.

On a sunday morning back in october, my father moved my truck out of the drive way so he could leave. started up ran great no prob. well i went to go away just after lunch and it wouldnt start. no juice at all. i figured no big deal the battery terminals are loose again. well tightend them up, even replaced teh positve cable. ok that wokred, turned over just fine. well i kille dthe batter so my dad got out the tow strap and pulled me down teh street. i continually tried "pop starting" it with no luck. every once in awhile my fuels pumps would come on any more. i figured that relay went. replaced that no go. still not getting fuel. so i "hot wired" the the fuel pumps with a jumper wire @ the relay. both pumps turned on and i once again had fuel pressure. tried starting no go. well i have spark so thats alll good. lets check for codes shalll we? WHAT CODES!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!!??!?! the computer releases absolutly nothing. not a single beep from the reader. so i replaced the relay for it still no go i have deterimed my fuel problem that the fuel injectores are not kickin in. please help get my truck on teh road again its all i got and i cant sell it like it is cuz no one will buy it. its gotta strong 2.9 and teh front end works great. gottta love 4x4. but please help me figure out whats wrong. im going insane and i have a very limited supply of money. also i took off the starter relay but now i cant remmeber where all the wires froo that go. i know where the positive wre goues and teh starter, but not the 3 smaller wires. do they go on top or bottom? thanx for all your help! :bawl: :bawl:

Sounds to me like something is shorted out somewhere in your power supply somewhere. Perhaps the starter relay is bad. For some reason no power is getting to your B2.

Are you getting a lot of spark at the plug's or just a little. I had an 88 ranger once that gave me some prob's., wouldn't start. A guy told me to check the module that is attached to the distributor (please forgive me, I can't remember what it is called). This ranger would give me spark, but it wasn't enough to fire the engine. I replaced it and off it went.
