I am posting this topic in the interior section as well, but this General Discussion is fill will forumers. How would I go about dying my whole dash and door panels from as well as other plastic interior pieces from gray to black.

How could I do it right the first so the dye won't fade

Do I have to remove the whole dash

what products and where do I retrieve them

I have an 89 shortcab

Any help and info is much appreciated

Well for plastic you need plastic paint, Vinly you can dye we sprayed ours out of a gun when we did our dash, you can get vinly dye at any good paint and body shop supply store.

If I am not mistaken there are dye to work on the vinyl also............. I know you cen use them on carpet but it makes it stiff.
