just picked up a 97 ranger 2wd 4cy 5spd 112k on the clock. very hard to find hereabouts. anyhow 1st ford 1st truck so hope to learn a lot here
sofar see no rust underneath, cleared the p1443 code and cel by replacing a sensor and solenoid under the hood. door ajar light and dome light malfunctions solved with wd-40. new front shocks (slapped on some monroe's)and will be rolling on 4 new firestone destination a/t's tomorrow. that should complete the initial stuff.. at least for this winter.
otherwise this ranger looks like it was in a time warp as it was never worked and all the miles are highway..
