The door on my 97 with a 2.3 thinks it's open sometimes, making the buzzing noise and turning the head lamp on. I've had to pull the bulb because of night driving. I've hear this is somewhat common, I pulled the door panel but don't see where the sensor is?? Would one of you tell or show me where this sensor is so I can replace it?

If there is not a button/switch at edge of door frame, then it is in the door latch.(you probably can't see the switch itself) Spray the door latch liberaly with WD40 or any lubricant. Open and shut door several times. It should work.

Yeah just spray the **** out of it with WD40 and it will fix it. I had the same problem.
