hi all, the other day this noise started coming from my blower, it last happen several years ago, i've attached a sound clip of the noise. it sounds like the bearings in the fan are starting to go, does this sound right? (no pun intended)

p.s the volume is real low on the clip so you may need to turn it up

Sounds like a leaf got sucked in, and is hitting the blades in the fan.

when the bearings go the fan makes a high pitched squeal. Pines needles or the small leaves of some trees are normally sucked in. I have had leaves blow out the vents. I believe its a honey locust tree in my front yard, Its a real pain.

Just had it happen to me. It was a leaf in the blower. Open the glove box, pull the tab in on the left so it flops all the way down. Turn your zone selection till the door in front of the blower opens up, I'm sure you will find something in there. I had to use a tape measure to reach in and get the leaf out.

I'd remove the blower motor, clean out the dry debris, then douche it real well with a garden hose.

You'll be amazed how much leaf debris and pine needles is in there.

I had that exact same noise last week. My blower was about to call it quits. I changed it out and it fixed the noise.

Good Luck!!!
