Does anybody have any idea why my radio and heater would stay on after I turn the truck off? Thanks.

prolly some wiring issue. on two rangers i have driven the wipers just come on for now apparent reason. one swipe then gone.

Ignition switch gone bad.

Mine has a sweet spot where the engine turns off but the heater and radio stay on. I just slightly turn the key towards off until the engine quits.

Sounds like yours is STUCK there.

well I replaced the ignition switch and it didn't fix it...any other ideas?

Trace the wiring donwn the coloumn, maybe there is a wire thats rubbed through or such.

I'll try that. Does anyone have any other ideas? A mechanic told me it could possibly be the crash sensor...does that make any sense? It doesn't really to me but what do I know.
