Can you drop a ranger 2" with control arms and use factory springs?

I've seen DJM's 4" kit. It looks like it drops 2" with control arms and another 2" with coil springs. But, DJM says it's control arms 'require' THEIR 2" drop springs to work properly. Is this true are they just tring to sell there products?

I want the smoothest ride possible with a 2/3 drop.

I've dropped my 98 with 2" drop coil springs and 3" hanger. It rides like crap now(Front Suspension ), after 18 months. My steering is also loosening up.

I dont for see a problem with using stock springs on the arms you will net a 2 inch drop with a stock ride.

I love how DJM advertises in their add's in truck magazine use our control arms with stock springs to maintain a factory ride but when you call and ask them about they recomend that you dont use them. Thats false advertising I think..

just buy the hillbanks 2" lowering springs for $50 on ebay and be happy with your low ass 4/5 drop.
