does a 2000 chevy s-10 box fit on a 1989 ford ranger (I`ve seen it on one befor)

Even if you could bolt it up, the body lines will not match. Plenty of good ranger boxes out there if you need one.

ive seen an old chevy with a newer bed on it in my town.

Again...even if it does...the body lines will be shot, and unless you plan on doing a buttwad of body shaving and such, it wont be worth it.

alot of people would kill for an old style ranger like yours. If you want a new style box then why not just find a newer truck instead of puting all this time, money, and effort into something you have a chance of messing up on?

I can just imagine that it'd come out looking something as bad as this
