I have a 95 with DJM 3" dream beams already on my truck. I was wondering if you can run 2" drop springs with the beams and still expect to get a good alignment. Second, do they sell the drop springs for the twin ibeam setup, or are they just cut, and if they are how many coils are cut?:puke:

i have 2" progressive rate coils on mine...have no problems with alignment. have seen 3" drop springs as well. search around, there are numerous threads about cutting springs.

DO NOT CUT YOUR COILS i dont even know how many times ive told people this it totally changes you spring rate and it rides like poo. i did it to my explorer when i was like 18. i would hit bumps in the road and the truck would bounce off the ground. it is not safe. ii went back to stock springs that week buy drop coils even if there from aim there better than cutting your stockers. belltech and eibach make the best drop coils maybe ford racing or soomething but im not sure. they are 2 inch and are alignable, anything more and your gona run into problems. your gona waste more money in the end cutting ur springs especially on ann Ibeam truck. just lookin out for ya.

Cut coils, or drop coils will both work with drop beams, as long as you don't cut too much. Limit yourself to 2" of drop, and you should be able to get it aligned.
Properly cut coils are just as safe as drop coils, The spring rate will increase with a cut coil, but it shouldn't be a huge amount. The biggest issue you'll have is by cutting too much, and getting into the bump stops.
