hey guys i have clunking noise sounds like a cv axle (but its a 2wd) coming from my front end i have checked my balljoints, tie rods and still cant find the cause.

it be the wheel bearings going bad.

is the noise a constant? only over bumps? does it stop when you brake or no? need a little more info to get an accurate suggestion.

its constant at times then it stops and then can show up at a bump and start again also when the wheel is turned but stops when i brake

have you had a brake job recently? possibly be be caliper. wheel bearing would be constant all the time when they are bad. .

i checked them they're fine i am running out ideals

Brake pads shifting in the calipers as you drive. Then stops when the beakes are applied. also:: There may be a rock in your tire.
