this question is for anyone who has replaced or shaved their windshield wipers. back in september someone ripped my driver side windshield wiper arm off and the mechanics that connect to the wiper post inside the cowl broke off. the driver side wiper post is still sticking up out of the cowl but you can pull it up and spin it 360 and the plastic that surrounds it is all cracked off. i'm assumming that the entire dash must be removed to replace these parts. since they are all located behind the fire wall. i've been driving with no wipers since september but i live in NY and it will probably snow soon so i'd like to get this fixed. if anyone has shaved their wipers and wants to sell the parts i am interested. i need the windshield wiper motor and all mechanical parts. can anybody help me out with some info? is this covered in the shop manual you can purchase at the parts store?
