What do you guys do with the brake line. The ones that were on when I put on my beams rubbed real bad and ended up leaking. I changed them out and put in new ones with a thick peice of rubber over the part that was rubbing but those are starting to wear also.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what they did to fix it. I don't really want to have to check them ever few weeks especially in the winter.

Hmm I have never had a problem with brake line rubbing. You may look at the area and see if you can re route them some how.

My first dragging experience was on the high way because of a brake line blowing up from probbably rubbing. I of course lost all breaks on the side of the highway that happend to not have anymore side of the highway because of a bridge up ahead hahaha and it caused me to pull into the right hand lane almost getting taken out by a semi since i was only going like 20 mph at this point in a 65. I ended up on the side of the highway finally and happend to drag over a dead pregnant racoon which Ithought was a muffler so instead of being hard and loud it jus tmade teh dragging softer for a second or two (I was so confused at this point) and my truck smelled like bloody rotting cheese for a month or two after, I would catch random drifts of stench from it while driving it. I even got fur and meat stuck in the bottom 4 link tabs and ****... which may I add was there till I took my 4 link off a month ago. Too avoid this with going up and down you can always use a very light force spring its what the 4x4 guys use
hopefully my sweet story will help keep you off teh road till this gets fixed

haha yeah almost dying twice wasnt that sweet but nahh it was the rubber part from what I saw when we lifted it up the length between where he tack welded the bracket stuff I think is what caused it i think or it got stuck between the bag or when you took the turn at low low low psi I think the trie might of crunched it hahaha. Idunno if you remember after we took it out dragging down that side road idunno if you remember bringing it back into the parking lot and having fluid leak all the way in when you did that after dragging you basically shaved or dug under the tread of my tire. its funny that whole ride home that next day between the shop and renees house in elyria that compressor did not turn off once hahaha that pos got up to like 250 psi it had to of because I drained the tank into the bags and it went past 200psi I was like oh my god. it was funny though water would sizzle on the head of the compressor. that whole situation was just effed up from the get go because of aim...

it's all good.
no one else has had problems with this? The rubber brake line is rubbing right on the corner of the ibeam by the upper balljoints.
I think I might have some pictures of it, if not I'll try to get some. maybe while i'm in there again I can try to find a way to route it differantly.
What springs are you talking about? your name's Ross right?
