I am trying to decide between Magnaflow and Gibson cat back single side exit systems. Anybody have one or have any input on which one?

gibson if you want slightly louder than stock, or magnaflow if you want some noise, either way both types sound real nice

note- single exit exhausts are quieter than dual exit ones.

Beware of all the search nazi's:fryingpan , it's a good idea to familiarize yourself with the search button so people don't freak out over repetitive threads.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I've been looking at the Gibson dual extreme myself.

I have a Gibson side-exit, and I wouldn't really reccomend it. It sounds good cold, nice and agressive. And When its warmed up it gives an okay rumble, but Its not loud enough.

They may not have a SPECIFIC kit for it, but you can just buy a Pro XS muffler (i'm running the 40352 2 1/2" offset in/out) and have it installed with custom tubing.

I bought the muffler on ebay for about $90, then had it installed and added a tip for $140 i believe.

Me personally, I like a flow master dumped. Its loud and sounds good. Dumped exhaust are usually louder than other ones. the only bad part of them is they resonate inside the cab a bit but with a single dumped flowy it doesn't resonate at all inside the cab. Do a dual dump and you'll get a headache from it.
