I have a question regarding my daughter and the rear jump seat all the information I can find says to put her in the front with a booster, but are there any kits to move the jump seats or modify the jump seats(5 point harness) so she can safely ride in the back seats? any information or help greatly needed(got to get the wife off my back) I have sent emails to Ford they have tryed but still no help yet

you could always mount a seat in the middle in the back, not sure how hard it would be but I'd use as many bolts as needed if it were my kid. not sure if that's really an option for ya or not. I'm kinda curious as to what Ford said regarding the issue.

I have thought about a seat in the middle in the back I am guesing that it is the cover for the jack and spare tire tools?
there might be a way but I haven't had a chance to check into it, its been raining since I bought the truck its only been clean for a half day since I bought it. I am still waiting to hear from Ford

yeah that's where the jack and spare tire tools are.... you can get a racing seat an put it back there, a nice black one... buckler her up in a 5 point:E

Is it do to weight as to why it is unsafe for kids? If you could find a way to lock the seat in the down position...of course strong enough to hold up in a collision. Or is do to the way you would be tossed to the side rather than forward?

positioning is the concern, since child/baby seats are desingned to go foward not sideways

Ohh, so this is for a car seat...my bad. if sthe fold-a-way function is not a concern, I would imagine you could weld up a frame that could bolt to the floor in that corner if there is enough space.
