I have a 98 Ranger Ext Cab. When the truck is sitting still and you turn the stering wheel from side to side it vibrates the whole truck. Also when you hit a bump going down the highway the steering wheel vibrates and shakes like crazy. It is fine until you hit a bump. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I wouldnt think its because of it being lowered. chekc out the tech section on whatever size motor you have maybe. This happend to my friend megans mazda 626 or whatever it was she had. I would guess its the pump itself (Ihave not much knowledge with them) but call auto zone or any auto place and see what other kind of response you can get as well.

if the truck is shaking when you are still and you turn the wheel its sounds like a power steering pump issue
