vehicle: 1996 supercab Splash 3.0 auto, 5" drop f/r
Front Suspension: DJM beams w/ Steeda 2" coils
Rear Suspesion: Flip kit, DJM shackles, removed bump stops.
Wheels: F-18" R-20" coddingtons
I want to haul a motorcycle and all the crap(tools, ice chest, chairs, stands, gear) I'll need for trackdays. The bike weighs about 400lbs and the crap close to 100lbs. Truck does not have a notched frame, instead I removed the bump stops and ground of the lip for a little more clearance. The axle will hit the frame on big bumps/dips without a loaded bed but only occasionally. My question is would air shocks or helper bags be the best way to go? I really do not want to notch the frame but if it's cheaper than air and will work well for my needs I may notch instead. What do you guys think?
