The other day a large truck came by me and threw a rock that hit and cracked my windsheild.......................its only about an inch long and doesn't bother me. I put clear tape on both sides of the window to keep the crack from getting any larger. Anyone know any other tricks?
Thanks,

i'm not sure about your coverage, but for $50 bucks, once a year i can have my windshield replaced. you may want to consider going to your insurance (depending on how pitted/used your windshield currently is).
i've heard for star pattern style cracks, if you take a glass cutter, and etch from the edges of each of the tips, it keeps it from expanding, but i've never tried the technique
