Well, I'm finally really starting to get into bagging my truck. I removed the bed a few days ago and am starting to gather all the parts. I already have a 12 gallon 8 port air tank, 2 Viair 450 compressors, and an adjustable 200psi pressure switch. I just ordered 4 Slam Specialties RE7 bags (thanks again for the info msturg) from Grant Kustoms. I plan to run SMC 3/8 valves with 1/2" air line since I heard that is a good overall setup (not too fast or too slow).

Now on to my questions. Please make sure I have all the fittings that I will need because I plan on ordering all of them along with a few other goodies (super lift, super pivot Tri-4 link with bags on bars, 4 3/8 SMC valves, etc.) from Suicide Doors this week.

Fittings I need for front and rear:
-Check valve between compressors and tank (2)
-1/2 fitting on each bag port (4)
-1/2 to 3/8 fitting for each fill valve (8)
-T fitting between bag, fill valve and dump valve (4)

Does that sound right? Could you guys help me on what needs to be male and female? What do you guys think about all the components in my setup so far?

PS - Thanks for all the help thus far. Without you guys I wouldn't even be attempting this. I appreciate each one of your replies to my many questions.

best thing to do is draw out your system and mark where you need fittings..then make your list from that

Only 1 reply :( Do the fittings I have listed look right to you guys? Any opinions on my whole bag system as a whole??

assuming you are mounting the valves to the tank and also assuming just 4 valves for f/b...i get 2-1/2 to 3/8 reducers, 2-3/8 check valves,4-3/8 nipples, 2-3/8 T's, 4-1/2 male to 1/2 tube ptc, 2-3/8 male to 1/2 tube ptc, then however many 1/2 plugs to close off the unused ports on your tank..

you are usening viair compressors you dont need the check valves between the comp and the tank. Just one between tank and the bag before the valves i believe but it is easier to draw it out and. It helps later when u assemble all of it.

Thankyou soooo much for the reply!!! So I hate to ask this, but what would change if I wanted to run 8 valves for side-to-side? Also is there any difference if I mount the valves to the tank or somewhere in line near the bag??

You will want to run 8 valves to adjust each bag and it will ride/corner so much better. Mount the valves where you can get to them, it wont matter much as far as speed goes. I would just run 3/8 line that way you dont have to get all those reducers and speed isnt necessary, mine is waaaaay too fast. Those re7's are big bags, be ready to cut the mess out of the front and offset the rear.
