what do you guys think about just running shocks on the rear...also is there like a certain shock you can you use are do you need to mearsure it

Most of what I use are Nissan Hardbody shocks.

yea you need shocks on the rear even if your not puttin em on the front at least do the rear

what is so great about hardbody shocks anyways? why not just use stock ranger shocks?

Hardbody shocks compress smaller than stock ranger shocks alowing you more mounting choices.

Mine are off of a 1993 D21 (hardbody) Pickup, biggest engine, from autozone.

You an jujst tell them any year from 86.5 to 96 2wd rear shocks.

You guys Using the front shocks also? Or would the ranger be too heavy?

Never used the fronts, but I would imagine they are shorter. Weight won't matter on them since most nissans and rangers run 4cyl or small v-6's.

Best thing you can do is collapse them and measure while at the parts store and then do the same with stock ones and see what you have.

Whatever fits usually drop shocks for the 4/5 with new mounts.
