.. up front and put on some PowerSlot slotted rotors and Hawk HPS pads. However now the brakes are squeeling/squeeking fairly loud when I apply the brakes ... Did I overlook something, throw me some ideas please??

Did you bed the pads, seat them as per the directions ?

the hawks i got had these metal plates on the back of em. problem is that the plates were attached to the pads with some weak glue that melted. the plates then slid out and as soon as a little heat would get into em they would rub on the rotor (the cap portion) and make a squeaking noise. you should take off the wheel and take a look.

have you checked the noise supression (sp) shims as stated above, if they are ok & tight fitting , I would take them back out & spray the backs with brake quiet & try again, if that still doesn`t work contact Hawk, see what they say .......
