Well guys, I will be notching the frame this week and was looking at my Suicide Doors 10" notch and was wondering if it might be too big for what I need. I have 18s with 225/40 tires now, but plan to run 19s with some fairly skinny tires in the future. I also plan on a 2.5-3" body drop in the future as well. Would I still be able to lay body with that setup on a 8" notch?

all i have is 8" notch and im on 20's and i lay

your frame notch wont affect a body drop only laying frame. an 8 inch notch on a ranger will lay 20s.

I have the 10" notch and can lay on 20's with 275/40 tires and a little room to spare.

If you use the 10 inch notch you can cut it down shorter. Kinda defeats the purpose of buying a 10, but hey its better than buying a 8 and find out you need a 10.

i had a 8in and it was to small i i couldnt even lay on stock wheels

Thanks for the replies guys!! After reading what you guys have said I think I am going to cut it down to a 8-8.5". I bought the notch a while back BEFORE I did much research so yea if I had to do it over again I would just buy a 8" notch, but oh well I can make it work.

Quick question, the bottom lip of the frame isn't as wide as the top part. Looking at it I think I'm going to have to cut off the bottom lip of the frame and make it as wide (2.5") as the top part to install the notch and box the frame in. What did you guys do?
