Never put cheap and lower in the same sentence. Look at the stickies in the lowered forum. Are you baggin or just static? JIMMY

Depends on your mechanical background.

There are ways to make it cheapER, but minitruckin is by no means a cheap sport.

well i think you can flip your rear axle and get shorter struts/shocks for the front would be quick and not to expensive. Otherwise your looking at a kit for $300 approx unless your going like a 4/5 or something crazy :P

you can't just put shorter shocks on the front and expect it to drop. i beam trucks are not cheap to drop. beams run around $300 a pair unless you can find them used, will get you 3" drop...springs are fairly cheap, will get you 1-2". you can get a flip kit for the rear for $50, 4-5", and then flip the rear hangers for 2" all this could have been found in a search though

Left a bit out i mean't to say shocks and coil not struts. can shorten your coils for a 1" drop maybe 2" not the safest route but something you can do at no cost if you have the proper tools.

I think instead of posting whats the cheapest thing to do, why dont you Post what you WANT to do.... I was underthe impression that when you said cheap you mean't a small drop or leveling kit.

and besides, even if you buy a kit for $4-$500, its still cheap compared to what me and some of the bagged guys have invested in suspension.

Depends, he didn't post what he was wanting. Lowering your truck could be anywhere from a leveling kit to a reflector collector. for a good drop kit thats a nice price, if you want to drag the ground and have air ride with adustable suspension ect then $100 bill's arn't going to cut it if you know what i mean.

not all of us are so lucky lol

I waited for 6 months for some used ones, I didnt even really care in what condition... and they never popped up. Lots of belltech/chassis tech beams, but no DJM.

Sucks paying $350 and then seeing Dream Beams for sale on here like a week later....
