Hi everybody,
I have a 98 4x4 3.0 5 speed club cab that just within the last few days has developed a serious clunk or pop from underneath, usually when turning. Can't tell for sure if it's driveline or suspension related. It seems to be coming from the front of the truck but not absolutely sure on that, either.
It is bad enough that it will make the occupants look at each other and ask if we hit something.
I thought it might be ice since we've had quite a bit, but looking under the truck, it seems to be clean. I started to suspect the CV joints on the 4x4 but it clunks the worst when in 2WD and those shouldn't even be turning then.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
