Ive been trying to get ball joints and upper arms for my 3.0 2wd truck for weeks now. I can find the ball joints but noone has the arms! i mean no one! I tried rockauto.com autopartswarehouse.com and tried searching for moog themselves. Rock didnt have what I needed and neither did the warehouse. I asked both of them for moogs number and they gave me a number but it wasnt one that had anything to do with moog (i dont think). Ive searched for moogs website to see if they even make the upper arms but I cant find their homepage.

Does anyone have moogs phone # or homepage?

Does Moog make upper arms for the 01 coil spring ranger?

Managed to do a search and find the same site.... Weird. However I cant find a product guide or anything. It just tells about the product, no specifics.

Found there catalog... Still no upper coil spring type control arms! Grrrrr!

I contacted federalmugol (the real company name) and was directed to the product tech department. They DO NOT manufacture upper control arms for coil spring ranger suspension.

What a Piss off, been searching for 2 weeks to find out they dont make them. Looks like im gunna be renting a ball joint press.....

Just ordered some moog ball joints it ran me 167.80 for all 4 from autopartswarehouse.com It was about 20-25 bucks cheaper than rockauto. Rockauto was a bit more parts wise and charges for shipping. Autopartswarehouse has free shipping on orders over $50

if you have an autozone near you they have the loan a tool thing and one of the tools is the ball joint press....if you dont want to buy it of course

you pay for the tool then when you bring it back they give you all your money back

Or you could get yourself a good hammer and and decent punch with a large diamiter and pound them out... Save the time it works this way and you dont have to risk messing up the tool you just rented to do this job and having to buy the darn thing. The hammer and punch method works just fine!It will take you HALF the time that it will with the "ball joint press"....
