the first of this year a drunk driver ran me into a concrete wall on my passenger side. he got away so now i am stuck with repairing the truck.
the problem i am experiencing is a major vibration when using the brakes and a major loss of braking power. by frineds suggested to me to go get the rotor turned and that should help, because what he though was wrong with the braking was a scratch on the rotor from the wreck was causing the brake pad to slip. so i got the rotor turned and it helped for a little while ( maybe 20 miles) then it was back to doing it again. for some reason something is tearing through my rotor and im not sure what it could be.
maybe its out of line and i need ot replace a control arm or something. this is one of the few areas of repairing the trck in which im not educated at, so please help me

mabey a wheel bearing or a stuck caliper if you slammed the brakes hard,

Tie-rod or control arm more than likely. Get an estimate on an alignment and ask them about it. Then do the repairs yourself and have them align it.

yup ive concluded its the caliper
the brand new brake pads put on only 1000 miles ago are gone :(
had to down shift and not touch my brakes all the way across town. lucklily i didnt have to stop but 3 times the entire trip. a really big suprise for my city. soo ya now i get to go buy a new caliper tommrow. ne1 know about how much it should cost me for the caliper?
