I put a post up last week of a very bad ball joint squeek that I had. It would squeek when turning the wheel and when I hit bumps. The squeek went away this past week. It was about 0 degreese out last week and its in the 20's this week.

My question is should I still replace them or wait till the squeek comes back?

I ordered the ball joints from autopartswarehouse.com but ordered the wrong ones and sent them back. Should I go ahead and get the ones I need and replace them when needed?

I would replace them since you know that they are bad....

Mine was doing the same thing, but even when it got a bit warmer. It was the upper drivers side ball-joint for me. I ended up sticking a grease needle in the boot and filling it with grease, thats is until it oozed out through a larger crack where water must have been getting in. Anyway, it pretty much instantly stopped the squeak. I'm sure we both need new ones though. Oh and I greased my tie rods in the same manner, sure did make turning the steering wheel easier.

Yes you need to get them fixed... if they are too bad you can't get the front end lined up correctly.... do it as soon as you can...
