View Full Version : Good news from James Duff!!!!!
Sad_Savant Feb 27 2007, 09:30am Good news guys, just got off the phone with Tom. James Duff is currently doing a production run of 50 track bars that should be ready by sometime next week.
Instead of 5304/5305 bars the bracketry has been combined for both due to production cost. This means that these bars with fit any 8.8 ranger axle.
Keep checking this thread as I get more information from James Duff....

you just call them and place the order over the phone!
the cost on the bars is going to be the same as it was! ($89)
OH, if you guys would be so kind, just let them know that Rob sent you! I would really appreciate that.
veNom_bz Feb 27 2007, 12:34pm rob,
i looked at it and sent them an email. however, it seems as if they don't answer emails according to their prompt.
it also doesn't seem as if they will want to ship to me (in Belize). could you do me a favour, if you talk with your guy on the inside any time soon could you ask if they'd ship a set down here, via usps? thanks man.
[edit: i did mention your name by the way...]

I'll probably give them a call in a few days... I hope they are as good as everyone says they are-
Then i'll get my Bilstien shocks, and i'll be handling like a vette... right??..

hey man, if they won't, i'll ship them to you! i'll have Tom put shipping insurance on it and electronic tracking going from James Duff to me, then do the same going from me to you...

no problem man!
one word though, if you're going for handling, and your thinking about the bilstein HD's like on fx4's, i'd reconsider and go with rancho rs5000's or 9000x's...the bilsteins are a pretty stiff shock
4LitreRR Feb 27 2007, 01:48pm Well, actually I'm going more so for a balance of comfort and handling. More so for comfort, as I know my truck is never going to handle like a sports car. But I imagine anything compared to my stock shocks with 176,000 miles on them will improve greatly in all areas.
