Will 2.8 headers fit my 2.9? how can I get hookup when I shift from 1-2nd??
And, my truck was timed to 1degree AFTER top dead centre, so now she's at 10before....and the new 1/4 are..

16.96@84.4 MPH and a 0-60 of 9.0

She'd do better if I could get a decent launch, and not break loose on my shifts, but I can't get bigger tires to tuck. :(

don't even try the headers man, they won't work. The 2.8's had a different head design than the 2.9. As for getting hooked up I have an Auto so it is not as bigg of a prob. Try getting so wheels that are the right offset so you can bolt on some bigger tires, if that doesn't work try a softer launch, I know it seems slower but a slow launch is better than a spinning one becuase in the 1/4 mile every .5 seconds you spin you lose 47ft.
