just ran my truck down the strip bone stock with a sub and amp in it, and passenger ran an 18.936 at 71.75 lost to a honda sadly but what you gonna do so just wondering what can one of this 2.3L push out and how fast i can actually get this thing down the track so any one got suggestions willing to try just about anything

One word TURBO!
I am try to put a kit together right now. Complete engine build up.
But as for bolt ons or minor upgrades not sure what it can do yet. Once it get warmer I plan on going down the eigth mile so I could probably give a better answer then.

wouldnt you want it run it in the cooler weather for the best performance tho? out of a turbo set up I know my supra MKIII loves the cold. But more about a complete engine build up are you doing anything else besides turboing it or are you boreing and or stroking it as well. I hope to hear back from you as your project goes on I seen a could of prebuilts for like 600 on the classifieds section of the RPS

Well I am doing a duratec turbo and I dont plan on boring yet, but forged 9:1 pistons and forged rods maybe cams and so forth. But still working on it parts arent cheap and uncle sam dont fill my pockets to fast but it will get there.
