Thanks Dan Stinger23 Apr 12 2007, 11:16pm Most likely because the guys behind the counter are idiots...there is no reason they wouldn't be available. BlueMan Apr 13 2007, 09:19am Odds are, if your rings are worn out, you'll need more than that anyways. DPoyn Apr 13 2007, 01:53pm In reality, they do not need to be replaced the end and side gap are still within spec.I just picked up the engine.Had to change the head and was going to replace the rings and bearings while it was apart. The engine is going in my woods buggy. During my quest for more info on this subject. Some Parts sites lead me to believe that 96,97 2.3 and 98,99,00 2.5 all share the same ring.Does anyone know if this true? Thanks Dan joebltzfk Apr 21 2007, 08:45pm Quick web search under "NAPA": part number PC41726, 58 bucks. joe b |
