i did a search with no results. i saw where there was a build up on a carb'd 2.3 that got 190hp. i was wondering if any of you guys have been to the dyno, and if so what kind of numbers you were getting. a list of your mods would be nice too.

i've never been on a dyno for my 2.3. I think it would be a waste of the green to dyno such a low HP motor. I found a site with the HP ratings.

the 89 2.3 had 100HP with 130 torque

i was just wondering if any one had done mods like cam, p/p, ect, ect and had there trucks dynoed baseline and with mods. thanks for the link to the tech section. i had read through most of it but i missed that section.

You'd pay more money in machine work and parts to make a <200HP N/A Lima engine, than you would if you spent the money and swapped in a 2.3T Lima engine and did a few mods to reach 200+ HP.
