i found my rough idle was caused by a non responsive injector on # 1 cylinder. I was wondering if i could install injectors out of a 3.0 or a 4.0 along with the maf for either application. any input is greatly appreciated.

if im going to change one injector i would rather change them all and get my ranger ready for the next step towards a low horsepower turbo set up eventually

If you're looking for huge gains, that's not gonna do it.

That engine is only built to burn so much fuel and air, but of which are amply supplied by the 2.5L MAF and injectors.

The cylinder head flow is so bad on the 4 cylinders that using 3.slow or 4.0L parts is pointless.

Save your money for when you actually need something like 5.0L injectors for your turbo setup. Really.

low horsepower turbo.... probably without intercooler and ****, something just to play around with... possibly just rebuilding a head with cam and light port job with less restrictive exhaust and intake...
